Im Looking for some value that gives each-way betting a chance.
Im tossing and turning to whether select mid-week racing or not. As I haven't done the research to show whether its a viable option or not.
*The horse obviously must have won on its last start.
*Must not be tipped by selectors
*Must not be returning from spell
*If more than two selections in the one race - pick the longest odds.
From Flemington on Saturday:
Races 6
Winners 0
Placings 3
But those placings were at $12.40 (R1), $3.30 (R3), $7.50 (R4)
Not bad at all.
Randwick
Races 1
Winners 0
Placings 0
Belmont
Races 3
Winners 0
Placings 0
Eagle Farm
Races 6
Winners 1 $19.60 (Race 3) $4.10 the place
Placings 0
Cheltenham
Races 2
Winners 0
Placings 0
So total
Races 18
Winners 1 $19.60
Placings 3 $12.40, 3.30, 7.50, 4.10 (Winners place payment)
Each-way betting
Lay: $36
Return: $46.90
Not bad for a little bit of a play.
