Race 1 Randwick last Saturday
 

Just out of interest, does anyone know what went on here? The trainer of the eventual winner had also entered a couple of maidens in the event, apparently just to ensure it went ahead (according to the radio previews). Both the maidens were scratched before the race, leaving a field of four to run. Did he forget to put them in the float or something?

Whisky Dane travelled poorly and was scratched on arrival, not sure about the other one though
