Thanks Xpt and Brad, the problem i have with the manual stuff X is that i like to bet in the country where pool sizes are small and most turnover is done in the last 2 mins of betting, thus i really can't work out what to bet on.

That intrigues me about Austote, i really would have thought that only very good judges would bother signing with them, in a sense you are competing with other knowledgable punters rather then the rank and file. So i would have thought the prices of the true chances in a race would have been alot smaller, despite the decreased % takeout.

Brad thanks for that info about betezy i have looked at them before however they do only operate the best place service for metro meetings and as i wrote earlier i'm more a provincial man.
