below are the horses that I have rated on top and a computer rating program has rated on top as well for today... I am interestd to see if this works finding winners as well as reducing the number of bets, and improving SR, by weeding out the duds, these may very well prove to be the duds

I haven't tested them, so are posting them as an experiment.. see if the forum curse kills em stone dead

I would expect most to be fav or not far off fav

that seemed to work Ok .. but it is only one day and 18 selections...

from those 18 selections we had 5 winners and 6 place getters
(11 including the winners)

return 38 (Best tote)

there is a site, that has horse and something about "siber" in it's name that gives you the four totes live... Austote, STAB UniTAB and Tabcorp... All bar Austote bet for the place... If my clue is too vague.... email me and I will point u in the right direction.. U will need accounts with the TABS you want to bet with....

I don't know of a bookie that offers best place tote so it is a manual job trying to get the odds... for the win probaly 7/10 times austote is the best.. they also round to 0.05 instead of 0.10 as the others do... tho i keep accounts with the others as well... again it is a manual job, but I believe there is software available that will do it automatically for you... Austote doesn't normally bet on Mondays, and is usually metro only only Weds and Sats and Public holidays.. don't forget with austote you need to deduct the takeout after the dividend is declared... that max is 5%, depending on Turnover you can get it down to about 2%.. so still is way better than the other totes on average.

Thanks Xpt and Brad, the problem i have with the manual stuff X is that i like to bet in the country where pool sizes are small and most turnover is done in the last 2 mins of betting, thus i really can't work out what to bet on.

That intrigues me about Austote, i really would have thought that only very good judges would bother signing with them, in a sense you are competing with other knowledgable punters rather then the rank and file. So i would have thought the prices of the true chances in a race would have been alot smaller, despite the decreased % takeout.

Brad thanks for that info about betezy i have looked at them before however they do only operate the best place service for metro meetings and as i wrote earlier i'm more a provincial man.
