county tyrone had won a listed race and placed in the summer cup in his past 4 starts and placed 2nd in last years race. 20/1 was fairly choice odds wasn't it. good on him. he deserved a big one.

I had backed Zabeet ew. and my wife backed Tyrone for the place [we should have taken a quin.]. What amazed me about County Tyrone's win is what it said about the rest of the field who did nothing much at all[?] I predicted it might have been a NZ trifecta and it wasn't far of it. The pace seemed very slow too although I haven't checked the race time. |
