county tyrone
do we get sick of good horses.
county tyrone had won a listed race and placed in the summer cup in his past 4 starts and placed 2nd in last years race. 20/1 was fairly choice odds wastnt it. good on him. he deserved a big one.

Topsy,
I couldn't believe the odds when I took the horse. ( you will see I did tip it in the comps and had a side bet on it). Made a nice little amount on that win, I don't know what others were thinking. Good Luck. |

I must say I took a long look at him but managed to talk myself out of backing him I was happy to see him win though couldn't go to a more deserving horse or trainer.

Their site seems to be down - how did you access to this? Have they changed their address since the site went down? Cheers |

Ah you're still seeing that error message they had up when their site was down the other week. I had that trouble but all you have to do is hold control and click refresh and you'll get their site up. It's an Internet Explorer problem - the site was only down for one day but Internet Explorer has the error message stored in it's cached memory, and it's that your browser is accessing rather than the website. Damn Bill Gates!!
So, hold control, click refresh. Alternatively, hodl control and press F5 and it'll come back up. Let me know how that goes. |

I had backed Zabeet ew. and my wife backed Tyrone for the place [we should have taken a quin.]. What amazed me about County Tyrone's win is what it said about the rest of the field who did nothing much at all[?] I predicted it might have been a NZ trifecta and it wasn't far of it. The pace seemed very slow too although I haven't checked the race time. |

Here's a direct line for you all, pretty much backing up what we've all been saying really: the ratings have been calculated for Sydney's races last weekend, County Tyrone rates 116 - same as what he did in 2005, and in 2003 he rated 117. So, he's basically rated the same all three years, but the poor strength of this field meant this year it was enough to win by 2 lengths, as opposed to being beaten!!
