I normally have nothing but the utmost respect for racing officials but in a recent interview one official explained the change of riding tactics as alerted by connections.
Apparently the connections stated that they would go forward but in actual fact....due to "unforseen circumstances" they went back!
No enquiry....nothing....they just accepted the connections' explanation that they were "victims of circumstances!"
I ask you....what value are the hyped speed charts? Where is the appreciation of public confidence!
After this episode they mean nothing!
Are there any other form students who may feel that this episode warrants further discussion?
