Thumbs up

MR3 today, the "hot" favourite, Muzza's Star, became "cast" in the barrier stalls and after an inspection by stewards was duly withdrawn.
The commentator reflected after the race that officials: "are damned if they do and damned if they don't(meaning scratching short-priced runners which are suspected of being injured)."
Well, I have nothing but commendation for the stewards!
Sure, it is inconvenient....sure, the betting market is in upheaval....but....the punters' interests have been protected and they survive to bet later on today's program instead of potentially doing their money "cold."
"When in doubt...take 'em out!"
Job well done by the officials.

Cheers.
