La Mer: I stand corrected Super Impose did win the Doncaster twice, once carrying 59.5kg in 1991, while carrying 57kgs to victory the year before.
And he did win the 1992 Cox Plate as an 8yo, albeit in what many consider fortunate circumstances, when three horses fell, including the favourite Naturalism, while Better Loosen Up suffered severe inteference caused by Let's Elope who as a result was relegated from 2nd to 5th.
