I must admit that at today's Newcastle meeting I truly believe the officials "went missing."
Some of the races were more akin to rodeo events with horses rolling around like a pinball machine.
Some well supported runners were literally "knocked-out" of calculations and played no further part in the respective finishes.
I must say that imo a rating of < 2 out of 5 would be my assessment.
So, where does that leave we punters......?
I'll answer that myself: "Up the proverbial creek without a paddle....!"
We need a new broom.......!
