The last time i heared they get about $60 a ride at city tracks plus 5% of the prize money....i would think the best jocks get a bigger % of the prizemoney....not to many would have 1 ride for the week...if you see one with 1 ride for the day they might be country or provinctial jocks getting a city ride as for track work i think apprentacess do it as part of thier training but full jocks get paid....i know apprentacess don't get thier winning prizemoney untill they finish thier aprentaship they just get a wage
