Now they want to ban the horses from racing here and other big race overseas...who do you think this will hurt...betfair i think not, punters i think not, the only thing they will hurt is the racing industry,the melbourne cup is becoming one of the worlds main races because it has overseas horses take them away and it is just our biggest race....they complain about betfair and it being open to race fixing because we as the punter can be the bookie.....race fixing has been around for a long time and it was never the average punter that was involved it was a combination of owners ,trainers,punters and bookies.
Betfair has offered everything it can to help the Australina government to make it legal here but no matter what they offer it is not good enought because they are just greedy %&$*%& and they will settle for no less than total domination of the betting dollar.
