Saturdays Over... Time to assess
Ok, so how did everybody do on Saturday? I narrowed my fields down to three races, the Village (5), Phar Lap Stakes (6) and Corporate Stakes (8)... Two savers gave me my money back and my special got up in 6 Shania Dane...

I was surprised to hear the announcer say that Red Oog was a first up specialist? I've looked back at his form in the Sportsman and I can’t find any first up wins in the last 12 months...Dunno..
I have an odd theory about our top trainer.. Mrs G.W. There seems to be a pattern where there'll be two of hers in a top race one star and one up and coming.. The star will win but the "up and coming" also does well... Two of three weeks later we see the bridesmaid in the winners circle... Strange isn't it?
Cast your mind back to Winning Belle, Dance Hero and others...
Has anyone else noticed this ?
Now I suspect it's Al Maher's turn...
Now I'm not saying there's tinkering but there does seem to be a pattern, don't you think.. Sort of a payback for the owners...
Still it's very odd..
