Crazy NBL system
At my betting agency the deadline for betting on Wednesday NBL games is 7.44PM AEST, and the games usually start on FoxSports at about 7.40/7.41 so that gives you 2 or 3 minutes to watch the game and get a feel for the match.
I did this last week, it was a Saturday when Kings played the Hawks. Kings scored first so I had a small bet on them. Paid off but might have been lucky. So today I had a small bet on Cairns as they scored first. Let's see how I go. Current score: 14-9 to Cairns. |

Hunter wins. Oh well.
No systems are flawless. |

Worth a try though K-man. I wonder why your bookie keeps it open so late??

you should do some analysis on it. if the team is leading by say 5+ points in the first few minutes is it more likely to win? Maybe. Probally not enough to overcome the house edge though.

Melbourne vs. Wildcats
I like Wildcats' chances to win this one from the start, but let's see what happens first... remember the system is that I bet on whoever scores first. Melbourne scored first but from a free throw and I don't like their chances. No bet after all. Let's just see how successful this system can be. I mean anything can win or fail easily in the long run. |

Or have a look at the travelling schedule. The Wildcats only arrived in Melbourne at 1pm for a 7:40pm tipoff (NBL you **************s!) after their Friday night clash in Wollongong. Quote:
There's another win for your system. How successful has it been so far? |

Yeah, I couldn't believe that. I reckon if you have to travel between games, you should have at least 2 days between games. Like Friday night to Sunday afternoon. |

Yeah whoever makes the NBL draw needs to be shot.
This round has Cairns playing 3 games in a round for the the third time this year. Yet last round they didn't play a game. It has Hunter going from a game in Newcastle on Wednesday, to NZ on Friday, then Adelaide on Sunday - hope they cash in on their frequent flyer points. You also have NZ playing at home on Friday night, then travelling to Cairns for a Sunday game. And as mentioned earlier Perth only getting to their game a few hours before tip off. The only reason i don't mind it is because it makes it so much easier to pick winners because the teams who have to travel and back up are usually exhausted. |
