Yeah, that was why I didn't back them today. Well done to you on eventually making a profit at least.

got out of jail. you would think pakis with their tempremental play would struggle to get 270 so easy though.

lesson to be learned is that bowlers win cricket matches

Well, the Pakis got out to $2.60 at least. Maybe even higher. Would have been a good bet then. I like your thinking though.

Here's a tip. When Australia's playing a test, don't back them before the game. Wait till they get into trouble, because they invariably do. There's hardly a test match played where Australia dominates right from the start and if they do, you just stay out for that game.

spot on. in boxing day test, on day one i got on aussies at 2.15 when pakis where around 2/200. the aussies are just so good, they wear sides down in tests. There is no doubt that aussies are so methodical that streaky, flashy players can maybe do well for a short period eg afridi on weekend but australia just follow a plan and grind away. so in a test by day 3 they are on top.

on that theory, the south africa england test series shows different philosophies of those cricketing nations. have a good go on draw at start (2.30 ish ) and sit back and wait. slow over rates and bad weather often mean that draw is in to 1.60/1.75 by day 4 and hopefully one team in position to win. I bet with cricketbet, and they will often offer odds on draw or not a draw so laying off is possible.

you dont get rich but i think a profit of $200-300 a test is pretty realistic and handy, especially in these days of back to back tests.
