![]() Hi everyone, I'm new here but I'm an avid punter. Just love it. I guess if you bet every race your gonna take a tumble. Why not pick the worst race in australia on any given day and try your system then. anything could win at good odds.

![]() By definition, the worst race in Australia on any given day is probably a race which is unsuitable for many people's systems, but let's look at today anyway:
I would say that the worst race today was R1 at Orange. A field of 7 starters and 6 of the runners had compiled 32 runs between them without a single solitary placing. The other runner was a first starter and given the awful form of the other 6, it didn't have to be all that good to have a great chance. Sure enough, it won at $20. Easy to be wise fter the event though. ![]() Now, as for systems that could have picked this winner, you could have used the sole first starter in a maiden. That one's not a bad system. Or then there's simply backing R1 number1, no matter the form. Last edited by Sportz : 3rd May 2005 at 01:06 PM. |

![]() Any ideas Sportz, as to why the first starter had to carry an extra 2 kilos...?

![]() It was a maiden plate (set weights), so the 3 geldings had 2kgs more than the 4 fillies and mares.
