Thumbs up

Hey Real Deal, great work mate. A guy who drinks at my RSL is a part owner and he said it had never been better. His last run was tops and has there ever been a race that a horse has looked better suited in? Agree how well weighted Dandy is, but it is on that ratings system now so can't begrudge. What i can't understand is why bookies take such a set against him EVERYTIME HE RUNS.

Had a ********er of a day in the MV punters club, started with a few beers and ended in me and two mates absolutely giving it to the tipster and the price is right dude for backing their last $837 on Barraba Road instead of "The Kid" we, told him (and the whole palladium) it was a good thing B4 the race. The old folks with there BYO tea and biscuits were none to impressed, we got many a dagger from the bewildered mob as they watched their $20 investment dwindle to a mere pie voucher.

I must admit Oamaru Storm has slipped under my radar a bit, but i have never backed him or against him so i haven't really noticed his talent. Silver Birch is very close to a win, getting right down in weight now and was never extended from impossible position on Sat. Orange County is a future star, started v. good odds after top run behind Danerich (who i backed, and lucky to collect) His sectionals were far superior to Dandy Kid's carrying .5kg more after the claim, and with similar runs.

Funny that. I got a 'blackbook' tip for Oamaru Storm a while back and I've backed him at each of those last 4 wins. I'm surprised at the price each time. I thought it would have been about $3 at most on Saturday. And Orange County was my best bet. Again surprised at the odds.

Unhappy

Yep, Orange County paid ENORMOUS, i actually thought it would be close to even money. Not that i bet on it, didn't wake up till after the second following a massive night at Goldfingers, dare i say, i could've well used a $6 winner in the first.

I see you put El Man Goss in Sportz, don't sack him, that race was never going to suit with the apparent lack of speed, wide gate, sharp class rise.

Mr Ed, are you going to have a go at the Fantasy Racing competition I'm running. I think you'd be good at it. You've got till the end of June to sign up on the Sticky Thread at the top of this forum.
