And thanks for the offer of the book, but as KV said you should keep hold of it, it would be worth a bit to a collector if it is in any sort of reasonable shape. As regardsthe other stuff in the book such as bonuses and penalties for going distance barrier jockey and that sort of thing, I only use a base rating. I bank on the fact that if my selection/s have unfashionable jockeys or are coming from a wide barrier it will give me a better price. If a horse I fancy is at 15/1 I would sooner it be that way because it has some poor factors going against it rather than be that price because of poor form.
