MISS FINLAND. $3.00 $1.50
EL SEGUNDO. $4.50 $1.87
HARADASUN. $5.50 $2.12
MARASCO. $6.00 $2.25

I certainly wouldn't be taking any of those early odds. They will be just as good on the day and anything can happen to the horses before the Cox.

Crash you make a good point. But I think Miss Finland will start shorter and am willing to take the risk.

Cheers

I like Miss Finland and Efficient right now and contrary to alot of thoughts on this race it does look rather weak to me this year as it has been for a few years now, obviously the loss of NSW and QLD horses isn't helping the depth in alot of these races but there really doesn't seem to be alot of hopes in this.

Efficient is a 'grinder' more suited to the Cups [especially the Melbourne] I think. Anything winning the Cox will have to be able to unleash a fast finishing 200m sprint. Something Efficient just can't do.

I disagree to an extent on Efficient he can win this race as I feel everyone of the favs are a massive question mark at 2040m they walked last year that is why El Segundo got so close it wasn't a hard run 2040m if they put the pace on in this race Haradasun, El Segundo and Marasco are absolutely no hope in my opinion.

I thought it was a great run by Miss Finland last start. Her effort to get within coo-ee of the winner at the end was remarkable. El Segundo the danger.
