I have heard that grey horses make better wet track sprinters. Is there any truth in this ?

Don't think it qualifies as a great grey but there was a grey in the last harness race at Maryborough - "The ************** Grey" - finished 3rd.

Was "Paleface Adios" a grey? It was before my time but a friend of mine claims it was a grey.
