We should go close to that 13 golds. Depends on our Cyclists and Rowers. There's possibly 2 or 3 more golds in the swimming. Can't really see us winning any in athletics though, so the 2nd week certainly won't be as good for us as the first!

Jodie Henry is my absolute favourite, so although I thought she was brilliant value at $3.50 pre-games, I didn't dare back her for fear of jinxing her. Bad luck for Liesel last night. It was a good performance and she went so close.

Who do you reckon they should choose for the relay, Liesel Jones or Brooke Hanson. Brooke finished .01 secs ahead of Liesel in the individual race, but Liesel is the world record holder and I'm sure she'll be so damn determined to put in a big one. Then again, Brooke's faster starts might be more suited to relays. Don't know about that one. Anyway, we'll probably be about 1 to 1.5 seconds behind the US after the backstroke, so it'll be up to Petria Thomas and either Brooke or Liesel to give Jodie a chance to mow them down in the last 100. I reckon the world record will probably go in that event. I just hope that it's us.

Gday sportznut. I hope they pick Liesel. I reckon she shut up a few of her critics with that gutsy swim last nite. I was gutted 4 her, but, I reckon she's probly actually a better swimmer than Brooke and I reckon she will swim a bottler in the relay
