attached are my ratings for today's racing around the Country.. It's the big day of the year at Bowraville with the Cup being run there today.. Volcanic Scene has been in great form of late and deserves to be the fav ... look for Planet Lover to be finishing the race off, of the others Ascotello would have to be a chance at odds, its not a large field but is a good field for this race..

The wet track curse continues with only the West providing a dry track, much the same as yesterday

I am getting over these slow and heavy tracks around the place.. they are making an awful mess of my ratings SR... However all was not lost today.. we had to wait for the very last race for the top rater at Kalgoorlie to get up at better than 11$ (NSW).. I think lots of people neglect the west at their peril, the tracks there are usually dry so finding winners and place getters is no where near as hard as it is over here in the wet.. We found a place getter with 7 out of 7 on top runners ( 1 was a NTD) and 1 winner at $11.60.. betting a ratio of 1 win and 4 the place made the west a happy hunting ground..

Through the day I am so glad that they race at Hobart.. we found 4 winners there at $14.90 $8.50, $3.10 and $2.80 .. The Bowraville Cup went pretty well as expected with the Duck, Volcanic Scene (there is no better wet weather mare in Country NSW racing) winning at $2.80, with Ascotello 3rd and Planet Lover rattling home to miss a place..It has been a real struggle with the wet tracks of late, but today was a pretty good day...it just proves that you need to stick if you know that something works over the long term..
