Default Doubles Betting

I have done my ratings for Moonee Valley on sat for races 7 and 8. I'll wait till sat to get the scratchings and then work out my prices and using the oztools website workout my doubles bets and back only the value combinations.

Any thoughts on this form of betting.

Im big on betting on double's. As they do pay alright.

I mean you can have 4 selections in each race 4 X 4 = $16 and the running double in field sizes more than 10 is for sure going to pay more than $16, of course if you have two short price favourites that get up, you wont make a profit.

But recently, ive been betting with some success on running doubles, especially when a roughie gets up.

However, consistently backing running doubles? Im not sure, as i have not really dont it consistently, just on the odd ocassion everynow and then.
