Default Ratings + Excel help!

Hey guys just calling on those with a bit of know how in excel.

I just wanted to know if you can implement drop down boxes. So i could have a drop down of my increase/decrease increments for my ratings rather than typing in every number.

Cheers,
Matt

Hey TS,

you certainly can.

Data menu > Validation > on Settings tab, Allow List and add your look-up table in Source

The only drawback is the look-up tables must be on the same worksheet you are using.

Default list on another worksheet

You can have a list on another worksheet, you simply have to name that list:

Open the spreadsheet where your list is

Then - INSERT, NAME, DEFINE

Name your list- say - Horse

click in REFERS TO, then select the range of cells that contain your list.

Now, where you want your drop down box, click:

DATA, DATA VALIDATION, LIST - Click on source and type - =Horse

Thats it

Harry
