Question Longshots - when it rains it pours

I remember seeing a post here some time ago that mentioned how longshots seem to come one after the other at a race meeting.

Look at what happened at the nine race Moonee Valley meeting today:

R1 - Busby Glenn $25.30
R3 - Wings On Fire $15.30
R4 - Sir Pentire $17.00
R6 - Victory Sweep $11.40
R8 - Ginspiel $16.10
R9 - Threedee $24.40

I don't think too many punters would have enjoyed their betting at Moonee Valley today.

Our Premium Betting Package practically ignored the meeting today. Members using our Longshot Betting Method may have had a few dollars on Threedee.

Not this little black duck Neil.
I enjoyed every minute of it
KV mentioned this phenomena first, and for some strange reason it works more often than not.

Unhappy so close..

Everyone loves backing a longshot winner neil, but three dee in the last race cost me a whole wad of cash today. (even though i had a good day anyway)
It was one race where i didnt want a roughie coming through.

its not really relevant to the thread, but i just had to get that off my chest..
cheers

Gday Neil

I dunno about Moonee Valley being horrible today... I thought it went ok

I had
Mypollonga on top at 3.3 (assessed at 3.2) so that wasn't flash
Victory Sweep rated 4th (assessed at 7.2)
Infinite Grace rated 2nd
Ginspiel on top 16.1 (assessed at 3.25) there is a lot of time between overlays like that
Threedee in the top 5 (assessed at 11$)

There were overlays to be had down there today

I have been finding Sydney a lot harder of late...
