Hi all
I have a question, it is true that a horse up in class will down in weight and vice versa. But let see today sydney R1/3 Baroness Britney she's just won a maiden in Wyong with 53kg how come today she will need to carry 57kg in a NSC event what is the main theme behind it.

Cheers

Baroness Britney won a set weights maiden, not a 2YO fillies maiden in June.

She is now contesting a 3YO fillies race which is restricted to fillies whose total flat race wins do not include a race worth more than AUD$10,000 to the winner.

She's one of only 3 winners in the race and won the strongest race. That's why she is handcapped with 57kg., 3.5kg. above the minimum.
