Rabbitz,
Yesterdays Courier had the following story Parramatta coach Jason Taylor last night emerged as a shock contender to replace Ricky Stuart at the Roosters next season. It is believed the Roosters are poised to approach Taylor,Who has signed as an assisant coach With South Sydney for 2007. The move from the embattled Roosters club will hinge on Taylor negotiating a release from his 1 year Rabbitohs contract. But Rabbitohs CEO Shane Richardson yesterday denied Taylor had a "get out" clause in his contract if a head coaching position became available. Questioned about the possibility of Taylor asking for a release,Richardson said" I'll worry about that when it happens,JT is a man of his word, and so am I." I'ts interesting to note that Richo did NOT say IF it happens, but WHEN it happens. cheers |

G'day Rabbitz
Seen todays paper yet?Jason signed by Richo as head coach for 2 years with an option of another one after that, depending on results I guess.Apparently McRae is filthy as Richo promised him another year, but reneged.Just reading between the lines seems like a nice piece of manouvering by Jason to get the job cheers |

I heard Shane Richardson interviewed early this morning on the BSB and said he thought JT would do a better job as the coach[we all really know that Holmes acourt was behind it,don't we, but Richo is his mouth piece] and MCrae to oversee the runnings at the club as he had done overseas before, Taylor was never going to be the Roosters coach from what i've heard, maybe its someone overseas at the moment?

Taylor was one of the most underated players around a master with the boot and a good playmaker aswell, the main problem there were a few good halfbacks around at the time and made it hard to get a lookin.
He was one of my all time fav players. |
