Unhappy Moodys Bad afternoon

i just heard that 2 horses from moody's escaped and ran about 8kms down a busy road and 1 took out a parked car and smashed head first into a brick wall and the cops had to shoot it. the other is alive but ripped up pretty bad in the caulfield hospital..it was pretty terrible, apparently its face was completely smashed in. Im not sure of the names but i think they were just youngens they got away from the apprentice when he was walking them and cos races were yesterday the gates into carpark were still open so out they went.
Lucky he won the seymore cup so its not all bad...

8 klms!

I'd better check the backyard.

That's terrible for the horses, they must have been frightened beyond belief. There's a lot of traffic around Caulfield racecourse and they probably ended up on Hawthorn Rd, but could easily have ended up on Glenhuntly Rd or worse Prince's Hwy.

That's real bad new bout the horse they had to put down. But on a positive, a long overdue win for Thin & Crispy, has been so unlucky this prep in its first two runs and a wide draw a couple of runs back. Good to see it finally salute after the improvement it showed in its last prep.
