Hi all

Can anyone tell me if there is a software programme or if it is possible to do it any other way.

If one wants to say find all horses that have a:
20% win strike
raced last 21 days
beaten less than 3 lenghts last start
within 400m from last start or within a certain distance range etc

then instead of looking through every race manually a scan is performed and the horses that fit the criteria a brought up.

Hi ubetido.
Be surprised if the software, results database and method to download the data is not out there and being used.
If not you could look at MS Access or something similar to develop some software. Been told MS Access is pretty easy to work with.
Are you focusing on any particular state?

Hi ubetido,

If you want to look at past data and analyse the results and play with filters, my database does it.
If you want to select horses in upcoming races that qualify, you need a different product.

yeah it is commercially available.. there is no concrete cost .. it depends on what modules you add to it...and there is the ongoing cost of form to consider as well

( Ihave nothing to do with the program whatsoever.. I just own a copy)

Thanks for your replies. That criteria was purely hypothetical for illustration purposes.

Upcoming races is what i am looking for.

However good to know there is past results that can be perused.

Depending on what you want it is fairly easy to write. I wouldn't pay much if you were going to get one. Its probably easier to learn to program and do it yourself.
