Hi Gerry,
Just wondering if you have a formula that translates your rating figure to your price?

Cool G'day YoungBuck,

My ratings and prices are calculated using a program which I wrote years ago and which requires nothing from me apart from data input for each horse.

Prices can be framed according to any market percentage I want to work to, but for the purposes of my contribution to the Forum, are always calculated to around 100%.

If I input a lower percentage it would produce higher (longer) prices and VV if I work to a higher percentage it will produce shorter prices.

However, I do have a stand alone program which converts your ratings to odds, and I would be happy to send it to you if you let me know your email address. It runs in the "Qbasic" computer language which, I hope I am correct in saying, is resident in the Windows operating system ( since Win98 ).

Good Luck,

Gerry
