![]() Here's a question. Suppose I pick the 2 following team with the following odds (UK odds) and my target profit per game was $10. How much would have to bet to make my target.
Man Utd @ 1/3 Chelsea @ 1/5 1/3 = 1.33 inculding your $1 stake. So if i wanted to make a profit of $10 I would need to have a bet of $32.00 $1.33*$32=$42.56-$32= a profit of $10.56 mad gambler |

![]() Hi Mad Gamble,
To answer you question 1/3 O/L 30 Ret 40 = $1.33 Profit $10 1/5 O/L 50 Ret 60 = $1.50 Profit $10 Total O/L 100 One way to make it easier to work out, is work to a takeout figure of say $50 after converting fractional odds to decimal price. Example 1/3 = $1.33 1/5 = $1.20 Take out $50 50 / 1.33 = 38 O/L Prof +12 50 / 1.20 = 42 O/L Prof +8 Total O/L 80 Doing it this way makes more money on the higher prices. And less liability on the lower prices. Cheers.
