Majorca has hit some nice form..looked super last time and raced liked it,,Robbie has got this horse in his right frame of mind,,the horse has showed he can be competitive against some very good horses..but he always lacked a length or two,,,I also liked the way Scott rode him alittle more forward than usual and he still showed a kick,,,,,Sir Sensible probably doesnt have that sprint to keep up with him,,i expect Gerrouge to be thereabouts...

Very open race this ,,,i loved Persuades run last start after a long lay off,,,not sure of the reason and i might try and find out at the track tomorrow,,,,,,,Amore and Mini View should both fly the gates Persuades will follow Amore over and with abit of luck might be in a possie where she can come off there heals,,,,,The barrier is usually a big no no here at Doomben but this is a very ordinary pack donkeys ,,,i think the top two backmarkers will get there chance with a bit of luck as the last 100m here will seem a long way to some of these speedsters but Persuades makes her own luck and could be around the 15's or more..

If Colless was on board BnB he'd be a special,,Galloway isnt a favourite of mine as he does alot wrong..he'll need to be good with this weight and barrier.....Andrology was good last start and with no speed again has a big chance..Mr Doyle was awfull last start but i have a therory he jarred up the week before as the track was pretty hard,,,i'll talk to Peter tomorrow and ask him..( A very good trainer and nice bloke) ,,Still the track doesnt suit him as much as across the road and i doubt the speed he needs....My Speed map has BnB sitting 1 back outside Doonan with Andrology and Princes the front runners,,,But Acceleration could take that possie and have Bnb 3 wide without cover or he might have to go back,,,,..looks like i'll be on the two up front and i should get the overs ,,

Interesting speed map this,,,i have Babinda flying up front ,,,,Rassmussen taking the trail in behind with Words sitting outside him,,,now a good Jockey would be trying the old pocket the fave trick and stop Rass from sneaking that break on the turn he likes to do as Babinda will be waving the white flag about now..,,,this would suit Words but you'd have to think the wise head of JP would be maybe sitting off that rail just incase,,especially on a hot pot,,,,Foolish is a good horse and can sprint very well fresh,,this speed up front will suit the big fella and hes knock out...


Summary,,looks like i'll get the odds i need for Richart,,,Majorca looks a special to me....Persuades e/w in an open race...
....Andrology and maybe Princess Predrille.......Not sure i'll take on the Rass but it does look a good multi race ,,if Hoss is taking Rass down south he should be winning this and doing it easy..

Interesting that Dance the waves rated so high....also the only one here with value,,,hes a proven weight carrier , group performer and good fresh.the barrier is a worry but at the 9's fixed i'll have some of that and maybe a bit more tomorrow,,,Fashions did look good in her barrier trial but shes against the big boys here and she only has 2kgs on them.....Posadas is interesting ,,no trial at all ,,,would like to see him in the flesh tommorow but he races well fresh and i'm expecting a huge time for the Hawkes stable this spring....i'm prepared to watch La Montagna but shes a classy horse and i expect her to be running on..

Thought alot of support in the last for the outside barrier runners,,there all a fairly even bunch..Telesecret was solid enough last start and atleast should get the good run...worth something e/w at the 10's

good day for me, pretty well way in front and if real mak gets up in belmont that will cap it off. Rasmussen looks like it could be competitive down south, wouldnt mind seeing it run up the str8 at flemington.

Some of you might have seen alittle change in my betting strategy,,,,but i've evolving with experience i guess...Trying to get more consitency as those monster divies i used to get are becoming few and far between..but i wont bore you with the details..

Well done HW ,,,if i was on the ball an allup with Majorca, Omnitrader and Rass who were all clear top raters would have made alot of sense...hmmm something to ponder i guess..

oops Forgot Dance the Waves who i backed last night......i liked his run as he had to do alot of work but still fought on...draws a barrier next start and hes a show..
