Default UK System

I found this little uk system during an internet search. One of 3 that were about the betting 5 to 6 horses in a race.

The basics are if you bet level stakes you would lose in the long run. So you have to bet to cover your stakes for each race until you win and make a profit then you start again.

So, 6 horses in race 2
Stake $12.00 @$2.00 each.

5 horses in race 3
Stake $24.00 @$5.00 each rounded up.

Somehow I'm not sure about this. Any ideas on how to cover your stakes from the previous race for the up coming race.

One method that can work if the prices are good is using a ladder progression.

Its the short prices that will eventually kill the idea .
So one has to be a bit selective as to what races this is applied to.

Betting units 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 ect
Assuming each unit is say $5-$6

For a run of say 30
Bank needed 465 x 6 runners a race = $2790
Stop at bet 30 or until in profit prior.
Then start again .

One just keeps going up the ladder, win lose or draw until it is driven into profit or you have run out of money.

Do a search on this site for Ladder Staking Plan it will have more detail on how it works.
It works best if your shortest price is $5-6 for this instance of 5-6 runners

Can you give us the site address for that arrtical please.

Cheers.
