Default Kyneton Result?

KYNETON Race 6 was won by a horse names RESULT.

This Race was my Introduction to Punting on horses after losing a HUGE amount over the years on Greyhounds.

I went over the race before and after the Event , but still can't find even an iota of a reason as to why RESULT won this race.
I understand that on occasions horses win races for no apparent reason. But they are usually at HUGE Odds.
This winner was very well supported.
Could anyone who supported this winner please give me anything to go on in my Form Analysis procedure.

I have the same reasoning for FRISCOES HIDEAWAY IN THE 5th @ Taree.
This horse was well supported into around 6/4 in the old. When looking at the stats pre race i noticed it was going up from a maiden where others were coming down. It was having its 2nd run back from a spell. Its previous 2nd ups stats were 4 starts for only a 3rd (i think it was). It was also an unfavourable back marker.

Again 6/4 for that? is this what Monday racing has come too? << to add to that...look at the strike rate (both win + place) on all runners in all fields at Taree today......am hoping this is the back end of E.I. and we get some quality soon.

Note i'm not bagging the horse (it might have only a 5% win rate but its placing was near 50% which was one of the better ones there today)...but questioning the reality of midweek odds & tossing up another curve ball for moeee to ponder.

Hi Moeee,
No surprise that RESULT won as he is the 4th favourite in the rate and his strike rate is consider average. Well, there is nothing else other than no 2 OCEANA ROAD has a better form than him.

Hi King Cugat,
FRISCOES HIDEAWAY has his regular jockey on board and 2nd run from spell is a consider time to show off or back to spell. Also the 3rd placing on the previous run at Pt was consider good. Also, I would have bet WHAT THE ODDS based on regular jockey and also down in grade.

That racing!!! Sometime you loose no matter who you pick and sometime you win althought you pick a donkey!!!.. Go punting!!!

Yes Matilda, I understand it was in the Market. And that is my point.
It only has a favoured position in the Market because of the amount of money invested on the animal.
It's just that I can't see a reason that anyone would choose to throw a large amount of money on this horse.
I wish all fortune to connections of all horses in every race.
But I'ld like to be able to share in their good fortune by having some of my money on it as well.
You mentioned strke rate Matilda.
Perhaps I shall investigate this Form Factor more closely in future.
Thank you Matilda.
And KING CUJAT, I gonna have another go today and hopefully the quality of the animals is more befitting the best performed animal to win the races.

Exactly. What you can't see - the private information - generally has more importance than what's in plain sight. Bit like an iceberg.
