![]() Hows it going guys, I am going to have a bit of a punt today got a bit of spare cash sitting around and the fields look good in Melbourne.
Race 1: I don't have a massive interest here but I have always had a soft spot for Rumbird he will handle it wet or dry and he should be decent enough odds in what is a pretty ordinary field outside a runner or two he might be a good e/w bet. Race 2: Not nterested in this one just to many inconsistenices there. Race 3: I love Count to Zero he is a real good horse but he has been dealt a ********ty hand in this one drawn wide and weighted badly he could still win but he needs a bit of luck now, Cargo Cult for mine he is in very well in realtive weights against Count to Zero drawn well and has one of the best jocks going around on his back he might not get right back in this field and doesn't mind if the sting is out of the track. Race 4: What a race this is Light Fantastic and Largo Lad look to be very special horses but I think the one being underrated here is Musidora what she did last start was amazing running very slick time and just kept going. Also she has the scalp of Playwright a couple of starts ago however he was apparently luckless in the run I didn't see it so I can't really comment. Best E/W bet of the day. Race 5: Tough race this one I have always been a fan of Sirmione just seems to be when i stop backing him he wins (Mackinnon) his 1st up run was pretty solid and the step up in trip will help he maybe a run short but at the odds he has already beaten Princess Coup once before at WFA and I feel she is the one to beat here so he'll do me at the odds. Race 6: Cracker of a race this one I feel there are 5 chances in this in racebook order Mentallity has class, Magnus you would be a fool to right him off this is a step back from last start, Bon Hoffa drawn well and flies fresh, Weekend Hussler he is a good one The trip may test him though I can see him winding up late and running a nice race, Typhoon Zed he is a quality horse and I find it interesting that Tim Clark has come down from Sydney to take the ride. I am going with Typhoon Zed e/w I just feel he is the value in the race he'll be up on the speed which is a good thing at Caulfield with no weight he'll do me. Race 7: I like another with a bit of odds about it here Reaan she is bred to get over further and is by the sire of the moment (outside of Exceed and Excel anyway) Hussonet, I think he will ove a hot pace in this and there looks to be plenty and you can't exactly knock Dunn in this race this wasn't why i picked he horse though. Race 8: Brom Felenity I have always had time for and I don't think she is out of this race she will need a bit f speed on though and I amnot sure there is alot there she does usually put in a good fresh run. Race 9: Hope I am winning by this point cause I have no idea in this one. Brissie I haven't looked to hard there but one of my old favs at sydney who was badly out of form there Speedy Duke is in new hands and racing at Doomben in the last if he found his old form again he would give this lot a real fright, he is down in the weights which should help as he isn't a big horse at all (I have seen him in the flesh he certainly isn't anything pretty to look at) Good luck guys have fun on the day good to see you all again. |

![]() Race 1 - Interesting to see how Our Smoking joe comes back, loves the wet so might have some at the odds. Thin and Crispy goes well second up so im expecting a much improved run here.
Race 3 - I want to back Gotta have Heart but i think there might be a bit to much speed in the run with a few horses drawn inside it looking to go forward as well. So maybe Orange County e/w, should get the gun run from the 2 and handles the going pretty well. Race 5 - I like Princess Coup here, thought its last run was excellent, just if they walk then a place hope at best so a bit of a question mark on it there. Im leaning more torwards Rubiscent now, good form at the track and distance and handles the going very well. Good e/w Race 6 - Looks to be a bit of pace in this race and from the gate the fav could get posted a bit wide. Bon Hoffa as long as it gets out and doesn't get caught in any traffic should be coming into it at the right time. Race 7 - Threw a dart and it landed on Marveen Good luck everyone it should be a good day |

![]() A strong program at Caulfield today.
I am quite keen on Princess Coup today. Probably my best today. Best value I think would be Bon Hoffa. $9 available, goes well fresh the concern is the short trip and the inside gate. But I think there will be speed on so if he can get out he will be coming home strong. I think a good bet at the odds. Weekend Hustler too short for mine, more of a $3 shot in my book but will still be very hard to beat. In the main race think All American will go well. Also think Marveen will go quite well. Always runs a good race and is a tough racehorse. Will give you a good run for your money. Good luck and good punting |

![]() what a start or of Rawillers best rides on Cargo Cult really never gave him a chance to get into the open not sure it would have mattered with the speed of the race.

![]() Well it wasn't looking like it was going to be a good day but between Reaan and Brom Felenity I have had a very nice day probably even have a punt again next week now. I have a couple of bets left on the day in Tentocountdown and Speedy Duke in brissie and having a bit on Karlsruhe in the 1st pacers interdom heat tonight at Moonee Valley.

![]() Didn't turn out to be as wet as some ppl were talking. Anyway, missed out on Princess Coup due to the tab's ibncopetance on not putting enough staff on to take all the calls. I was on hold for 3min and the race jumped while i was listening to it through their hold music

![]() Miss Judgement would have run a place if her jockey had followed the Hussler and i would have given a few in the summer punting comp a real fright - any news about an autumn punting comp from sportz?
Watch out for Miss Judgement next time and Sonic Quest in the Futurity |
