Default Advice for today

Morning all

With the Caulfeld rail out 12m today, the track will likely favour those that lead or race handy. Those runners are:

R1 - 1,5,6,7
R2 - 2,4,7,8,9
R3 - 3,6,10
R4 - 3,11,12
R5 - 1,5,6,10
R6 - 2,4,8,9
R7 - 8,9
R8 - 5,11

IMHO, the best betting venue today is Brisbane. Large fields with good value, and a track in very good shape. Stats ratings came up with:

R1 - 1 & 8
R2 - 4 & 9
R3 - 6 & 11
R4 - 3 & 7
R5 - 1 & 3
R6 - 2 & 9
R7 - 9 & 10
R8 - 3 & 17

In Sydney today, as with any wet track, punters should watch the first couple of races to see how the pattern of racing pans out. I'd expect a fan on the turn with horses moving well away from the fence. This gives the "swoopers" a great chance. But who are the potential swoopers??

R2 - 1 & 3
R3 - 2 & 7
R4 - 5 & 8
R5 - 6 & 11
R6 - 4 & 7
R7 - 1 & 15
R8 - 4 & 10
R9 - 2 & 15

Good punting and DO have something on All American and Burgeis in the Slipper.

Confused Newbeeee here...Privateer you are tipping these horses but you once said the following

Rule #1. NEVER, EVER, EVER risk your money by betting on a rain affected track. Nope, I don't care even if it is Rough Habit in a one horse race on reclaimed swamp land in the middle of a monsoon. "Do not bet when track is wet"

So are you giving these tips for us to risk our money on or are you backing these yourself and going against your #1 Rule

Plzzzz explain ???

Straight up: Good on you mate for putting some tips up. Win or lose I'm impressed. It's good to get away from that 'other' page and only those with courage do it. Well done.

Reded,

The Sydney horses were what I'd selected to be as I said "....the potential swoopers" and no, I did not have a bet at all in Sydney but I figured a lot of you people WOULD so attempted to help. In addition, I was invited to put something here so did!

The Melbourne horses were those that liked to lead/race close so that again was an attempt to provide a guide.

The Brisbane horses were compiled from a stats analysis I do occasionally.

So, once again negativity right from the word "go". Cheers for that Reded.

Not sure why anyone needs to be bagged for putting tips up to be honest, I used to do it myself don't have the time to do it anymore nor do I invest anywhere near the money i once did so I just can't be bothered looking that deeply into it anymore.

I apluad anyone who goes to the effort of doing this as it isn't easy and you unfortunately do open yourself up to critisism.

Cheers Raw...I only bet in Brisbane & Adelaide today. Song of Hope was handy at $34 though. Crash...I never put selections in any order of preference other than by saddlecloth number.

Privateer,
your not getting any criticism from me mate. Putting tips up front always deserves applause, not bagging. good effort as It was a terrible day for any selector. Well done regardless of results. Maybe now you might be getting where I'm coming from. Xplus for those that have a go, not for those who stay on that on that other 'safe' page.

Yep, I've faced danger and walked on the edge by sticking a few numbers up on an internet forum. Really the most daring thing I've ever done in my 52 years.

What do you think Enjay???? LOL Should I return the medals??
