I noticed at Taree today they have a nice bright orange line painted across the course at the finishing line which gives you a great idea of how much the camera angle favours the outside runners. Why don't all tracks do this (or at least all the tracks where the camera is offset from the finishing line)? It makes it much easier to see which horse has won, particularly when you have one runner much wider than the other. Must make it easier for the callers too and it certainly wouldn't cost much to do.
