![]() Does anyone else share my misgivings regarding the influx of "Seth Efrikaan" riders in Sydney?

![]() Can't see the problem with them there better than most of the other hacks going around.

![]() Yeah Raw,
Early on I watched and wagered on those late night telecasts of Sth African racing. It didn't take me long to realize that it was a "mug's game"...so I give it a big miss these days. It's a little off the point in question but I know that in Japan the jockeys are"locked up" and their mobile phones are monitored. Why can't an ICAC officer be appointed to overseer this? Cheers. ![]() To be honest i don't trust any jockey don't care what nationallity they are if there is one thing though when it comes to Lloyd or Schofield I do not think twice about backing them if they are on something I like and have been very successful with both of them, I wish I could say the same about some of the bigger name jockeys from here.

![]() Yeah, I acknowledge your point Raw,
I have no problem with the current steward's panel whatsover.....BUT...I have noticed some "interesting" activities after the Sth African infllux. Coud I suggest closer scrutiny of some questionable riding tactics(ie. ICAC). In no way am I castng aspertions regarding these riders....it is just that I have noticed a trend which I feel is worthy of comment. NB. when are we going to establish an ICAC enquiry into how Oz racing is conducted? Cheers. Last edited by xanadu : 7th June 2008 at 04:22 PM. |
