Just a thought. I know a lot of you who contribute to this forum are interested in spreadsheets. As I have a passion for the Melbourne Cup, I have a basic spreadsheet for those who share a similar passion, and care to get a jump on the race. I am happy to email it to all who are interested. Since joining this forum, I have had a great time reading your informative posts, and admire your restraint in not turning this forum into a slanging match like many other forums. Therefore I would like to contribute my imput, as you all do. Most figures will be correct, and up to date. I'm fairly sure my WFA column is not correct. It is hard to work out the different months a horse is born! Maybe somebody has a method, and can share with us all. Of course you will need, and be comfortable with Excel to work this sheet. The times are actual winning times, rounded down for simplicity. Some times are guestimated by margin. Either way, you can adjust as races are run. Cheers...
