Excel help needed
Hi,
I am trying to export data i have on my excel work sheet to a text document, i know how to export it but what i need is to remove the spaces between the cells so i can upload the bets sheet directly to the TAB with a format they under stand. On the sheet below you will see 2 examples the top one is the way it exports the bottom one is the way i need it. I would say a macro is need to do the job but i am hopeless at them. Also does having a space between the bets effect if they will be taken or not. |

'substitute' may help if the data is all in one cell
=SUBSTITUTE(A1," ","") if the data is spread over several cells then combing them into one & then using 'substitute' should work |

I never thought of joining them, will try this i shouldn't need substitue when they are joined.
PS worked great, just have to test if the Tab system will accept it will gaps for scratchings Last edited by Shaun : 28th January 2009 at 08:17 PM. |
