PADDY'S PENULTIMATE PLUNGES
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 2nd 2002

Well we tasted some success last week, and now back for some more!

Here are my top three fancies in each race, listed in tab no. order. Back them anyway you want.

Ascot – (6) Velsontas, (7) Bold Mirage & (8) Kentiara

Doomben – (2) Leroy’s Magic, (7) Wishart & (14) Strange Conflict

Flemington – (10) Fouardee, (11) Strategic Image & (12) Belle Du Jour

Morphettville – (4) Ten Carat, (7) Tell No Lies & (10) Skiing

Rosehill – (2) Zabarra, (3) This Manshood & (8) Veloce

Smile – they will wonder what you’re up to!

A guy walks into a bar, orders a beer and says to the bartender, "Hey, I got this great Irish Joke…….".

The barkeep glares at him and says in a warning tone of voice: "Before you go telling that joke you better know that I'm Irish, both bouncers are Irish and so are most of my customers"

"Okay" says the customer, "I'll tell it very slowly." !

Hey Paddy,
Don't let COUPE No.16 in the Classic get away from you tomorrow.A frontrunner who likes Flemington racing against its own at 7kg under its last run and it just won a Gp2 there Oct 5th and...in the paper its 20/1. Good E/W.

Did you hear the one about the Irishman who was short of a quid for a bet? He decided to kidnap a kid in the park, wrote a note which stated.."I have kidnapped your son, place $1000 in a bag by the big oak in the park at 10am tomorrow"....then he pins the note to the kid's jacket and....sends him home.
The next day a bag is placed by the big oak in the park with $1000 in it and a note which says....."I don,t believe one Irishman can do this to another".

Thought we had it 100m out INTUITIVE, ran a cheeky race at good odds.

Alas no luck yesterday BettyBoop, let's hope more rewarding Tuesday.

Ascot – (6) Velsontas, (7) Bold Mirage & (8) Kentiara (2nd $1.40 place)

Doomben – (2) Leroy’s Magic (2nd $10.80 place), (7) Wishart & (14) Strange Conflict

Flemington – (10) Fouardee, (11) Strategic Image & (12) Belle Du Jour - turned out huge bias to those on the inside, which ruled out two of my three selections! Belle Du Jour ran a nice race & should soon be back to best.

Morphettville – (4) Ten Carat, (7) Tell No Lies & (10) Skiing

Rosehill – (2) Zabarra, (3) This Manshood (2nd $1.90 place) & (8) Veloce

Indeed. It was the weight horse with the good barrier.....but the beggar did nought. There is a gal I know who dreamt the winner of the big one the last two years [saw it clearly] and last year she and the family won big on Ethereal. If she has one this year I'll let ya know.

PS I bought some powdered water this morning but I don't know what to add.
