Slavonic ran 3rd in 2000 as a 5yo, his dam was pampas Dancer (by Laudham Star).
This year Bedouin is set for a crack as a 5yo. His dam is also Pampas Dancer.

Slavonic was a Gr1 & 2000 winner going into this race whereas Bedouin has yet to win iether. I feel Bedouin's recent form with a 60% place record and 3-0-2-0 for the distance will be a placegetter so idea for a trifecta.
