Seems to be a lot of sprinters in this 1600m race.

Have doubt about a lot of them running a strong mile! For this reason I'm going for:

1 - Finito, will run a strong mile, barrier not a disadvantage as he will get back. Placed in this race last year & although up in weight, has improved last 12 months.

12 - Hardrada, only a 3yo but races like the mile will suit. Last two runs exceptional.

14 - Zaheed, well weighted, well drawn & will run the mile right out.

Value Bet - 13 - Tumeric, another well weighted & will be running on strongly at the business end. Currently 50/1 on TAB Fixed Odds.

Hardrada meets most horses he beat in the Lee Steere Stakes on much worse terms – weight wise. At the short odds on offer, happy to back against him.

Sticking with Old Fashion (3) – backed this horse in last years Railway, ran a credible 4th with little luck in closing stages.

Also like Corporate Bruce (2) – singing out for the 1600m, well drawn & not badly weighted.

Agree with Paddy – Irish Pride (7) has a good chance, but does tend to hang under pressure.

For my long-shot, agree with BB – Tumeric (13)

You all consistantly get the first four, I don't know what it paid for the Railway, but you might just want to get together and have a go!

I know it's kind of difficult being a forum and all but by jingo you should at least have a slice of the pie.
