Default Lay system for trots

Ok here's an easy lay system for trots

All trot/pacing races
All tracks
All distances

If the 1 horse is pre-post $2.30 or less lay the horse directly behind it (inside the back line) for the win.

Not a heap of selections but looks good on my small trial...

Can you give an example please, there is terminology being used that I have never heard used before.
e.g. inside the back line?

Well the runner drawn the gate directly behind the hot pot barrier one so at glouster park there is nine on the front line at the start, so if the number one horse is pre-post $2.30 or less lay number ten... At Albion park if the one is the short fav lay the eight horse. Inside the back line is the horse strting closest to the pegs on the back line, or second row at release point...

You'll generally find Bhags that the horse behind the one on the inside of the front will have the numbr 21 after its name, noting that it is on the inside of the 2nd row.

edit: Hmmm, just after looking Unitab, they dont list this like the NZ TAB do.
