Default 100 Rating Question

Folks a question I would like explained to me is the rating of each horse in the Newspaper.

Can anyone tell me how these Ratings are calculated (criteria etc)?

Is it each individual Horse rated against the rest of the field?.

How do we get the 100 Rating?.

Appreciate a rundown of this or a link of how it is done - who provides this info is another question?.

Cheers

Hi Aidleo,

It appears they're sourced from AAP. I found this vague description from Unitab:

http://unitab.com/unitab_help/help/racing/glossary.stm

Maybe talk to the folks from AAP.

Hope that helps a bit.

Thanks Schmile,

I have asked this question to various companies and had little luck, thanks for actually giving me a lead as to who actually provides this Rating Opinion.

I will try and contact AAP and press on ( wonder if I will receive a response)

One again Thanks for your help.

Nice one Aidleo,

Glad I could help a little.

I've also wondered how they were figured out. It'd be nice to know how much emphasis is put on weight, class, distance etc. to come up with the final rating.

What do you mean? Other days than Friday, or just Saturday's ratings earlier?

(Saturdays Earlier ) Yes Sportz - Now that the Melbourne Acceptances are out Wednesday for Saturdays Fields I would like to look at the 100 Rating when I study the form on Wednesday & Thursday .

It appears I will have to just wait untill Fridays as I have been unable to find any site that has it up earlier.
