I’ve been following a horse called Reggee, who is racing 8 today at Pinjarra –WA (race 8 ). Was an unplaced favourite at Bunbury last start after winning (impressively) two in a row – one at Bunbury and then the other at Ascot.

Would appreciate advice from Sandgroper or other WA based forum members, on why such a bad run last start, his chance today, and main danger/s in today’s race.

Hi Paddy, Reggee has been scratched. Can’t find any stewards report for his last start, but he was a well beaten 7/4 favourite. Perhaps there is some problem with the horse, hence being scratched today. Best of the rated (city form) brigade would have been Crown Witness, but he has also been scratched. Is now very open race, with a number of runners a chance at value, on their better city form. Frank The Bank is an interesting runner, have no ratings for this horse, but has won three in a row on the country circuit. Interesting to see how he measures up to the class rise today.

Thanks for your feedback Perth Placegetter.
I guess Reggee will have to wait another day!

Will be watching out for Crown Witness

In the end I took Frank The Bank as the anchor in the tri with a few others I picked, luckily managed to make a nice profit. They didn't forget to back Frank The Bank - pretty short odds, but a winner.
