Would like to help gunny72 but I don't fully understand what you are looking for. Hopefully more learned members will respond.

Default Second up myth?

I had been reading the posts in this forum regarding performance second up from a spell and I thought it might be interesting/informative to see the second up performance corresponding to a horse's first up performance. My suggested table did not format too clearly and I am sorry for the confusion.

So what is the win % second up for horses that won first up and, what is the win % second up or for horses that ran 2nd first up and, ..., and what was the win % of horses that that ran 5th first up? I would like results for at least 1st to 5th first up but more would be good.

Of course different form guides define first up differently but the one I use appears to use a break of 90 days or more as a spell but any consistent analysis would be appreciated.

Might be worth throwing in age as another parameter. From what I've observed horses generally take longer to come to hand as they get older.
