Hullo All,I'm a just joined "newbie"& my main interest(not a big punter)is in quinella's & doubles & think the ratings could be a big help,I would like to ask for some feedback on the ratings on offer from both the free Pro-Punter & the Prestige package, does either package give you the actual rating,ie 100,95,84 ect.?,any feedback, comments most welcome,Just for the record I would like to mention that a lot of interstate horses (& jockeys)find the Gold Coast track a horses for courses thing, may not look like much but the run UP the straight is steeper than it appears & will bring front runners, undone without a few starts there, trainers with "run on horses"use this knowledge well, also for the record I made Amex a banker in the quinella plus $20 ew.Jeeze just missed!!,small saver on the winner 'cause Galloway is a "knob" down there, just for the record one of the better rides of the day I thought was from Cathy Prosser,(anyone got more info on her?)will follow her with interest over the coming weeks.Enough of my ramblings for now Cheers Touchy.><>.><>.><>.

Hi, welcome to the forum.
I noticed that you praised the ride of Cathy Prosser and rightly so. However, did you note what was probably the worst ride of the day? The ride on Wagstaff defied all belief and make you wonder what the jockey was thinking. All I can say is that it gets pretty "hot" up there sometimes. To jump from a reasonable barrier and then to bury the favourite on the fence with nowhere to go suggests it just wasn't "the day" for this particular horse.
I will be monitoring the future rides of that jockey to decide if he warrants me putting my hard-earned on him any time in the future.
On a more positive note, in that race I let the winner, Cosmic Rays, get under my guard. A. Robinson going to the Gold coast for one ride is a pointer which I rarely let bytpass me, however, these things happen, and it ensures that I will be more vigilant in the future.

Cheers.
