![]() An "Untrained" monkey, randomly betting on a truckload of races will lose approx 10% ..... Many of the systems here that have a LOT of say 5% are seen as delightfully promising because all they need is a slight tweak to get them into profit.
Is anyone else depressed that as humans are generally regarded to be smarter than monkeys and have access to information that monkeys don't, are only marginally better at the punt than a monkey (and that's assuming we humans can find a successful system and not ruin it !!!). If we did find a successful system, the reast of us lemmings would jump on board and the result would certainly be ...... an unsuccessful system ('coz of the reduced odds !!!) and the monkey wins aagin ! |

![]() How many monkeys does it take to build a nuclear power station in an area prone to earthquakes?
How much money do monkeys actually lose on gambling? All fact finding and tweaking of systems comes to nought when the general premise that humans are smarter than monkeys is obviously erroneous. |

![]() I like Monkeys.
I have a mind set that says , bet to make 1.5 a day. Whether its 1 bet or 20 bets , just stop at 1.5% profit . Its best to make the first bet no more than .5% or lower. That's 45% a month. Easy profit . So simple a Monkey could do it, but most Humans don't like targeted betting in this way, even though it can be very profitable. Did I say that I like Monkeys.

I'm depressed that the monkeys will always only lose 10%, yet a good majority of "smarter" humans often lose the lot. Superior intelligence often turns a 10% loss into a 100% loss. I'm off to get my banana :P
