Default Greyhound Betting

The MEADOWS Race 4

8 PROVEN CHEVY $3.2
4 SONIA ALLEN $6.8
3 MR. ISSUES $8.4
6 STOKED $9.3
5 LARABELLA $9.3
1 CARLOW QUEEN $10.4
10 SERENE PASSION $11.5
2 PEDRO'S MOBILE $40

I bet you can't tell which animal is the one I am backing!
Its the 2nd last selection!!!!

WHY??
Because it is the Overlay.
It is Underbet because Punters often dismiss animals that are Reserves because they figure they are the worst in the Field.

I have it as a $3 Place Chance so I'll go Fixed Odds where it is showing $4.38 at the minute.
The Bet Size is $8.

Default Messed up already without a ball even being bounced.

The Calculated Place Odds for #7 in Race 4 should be $3.47
Not a major drama though, the Bet Size stays the same.

The MEADOWS Race 5

7 HAYDER BALE $3.3
8 WY YUNG TIGER $4.1
4 RAFFERTY FLYER $7.8
3 ZIPPY GALORE $9.5
2 SIR PEDRO $10
1 SHREDDED CHEESE $12
5 SELECT BREAKER $33
6 MARIA BALE $80

Keeping out of trouble is the key to finishing on the Podium, and from out wide , the 2 top selections may not be able to do that.
I'm going Place again.
This time it is #3 ZIPPY GALORE , who I have Rated at $2.75 for the Place and is available at Fixed Odds @ $3.93
$10 is the Bet Size.

5 NEW YEAR'S PUNCH $10
8 BEE GEE MAC $11
3 SISCO SPICE $16

10 ELUSIVE LOMAR $133

I'ld hate to back the wrong one!

Looks like I've become a Place Punter.
Oh well, we'll see how it goes.

I've got the top 2 runners as being $1.23 place Chances and #2 BLOOD OATH is showing $1.96 at Fixed Odds.
I am placing $20 on it.

Default Race 5 Meadows

1st split times
1 5.090
2 5.298
3 5.132
4 5.183
5 5.149
6 5.162
7 5.103
8 5.089

The #7 just hasn't been the same since its fall , seems to only win when it jumps in front, seems to hesitate with close racing,
#1 generally races pretty well on the rails but will push off the track somewhat,
#8 is racing keenly would be very hard to run down, if it leads.
Looks like the 1,7,8 would own the early speed, then comes the #3 who has had a few spells, best LTD 2nd sectional still doesn't get near the first 3 dogs.
#2 pushes off the track but is race fit hard, 2nd sectionals are right up with the best, just needs to stick early

Default WOOF43

In your summary of Race 5 , you make no mention of #4 Rafferty Flyer.
Jumps at the rear and stays there?

It's already found in the market, I have it rated at $6.35, but the difficult thing for this dog is it seems like it will be on 5-6 th at the first turn, generally it needs 1-2 or very close that does'nt appear to happen tonight.

Default Race 7

1 5.141
2 5.105
3 5.186
4 5.226
5 5.176
6 5.206
7 5.136
8 5.144
#1 normally goes better drawn middle of track where it can cut thru the corner with greater speed, now drawn on the rails it shouldn't be as fast around that 1st turn, #2 is a fader will need plenty of favours at the 1st turn to hang on.
#4 will be near last with the #6
The race has 5 dogs who need to lead to win, means a couple are just going to plod the back of the course, which is going to Favour 3,4,6 and a lesser extent the 8 who wants the rails.
Might be some good value to be had in this race
